How do Coming Clean Members Add to the Wiki?

Any Coming Clean member can become a "Contributor" to the Wiki, by contacting the administrator. Once your contact information and membership in Coming Clean is verified by the administrator, you will receive an invitation by email to become a Contributor.

Once you have done this, have read what a Wiki is, then you ready to start contributing.

The beauty of a collaborating using a wiki is that every page is immediately and easily editable! To see just how easy it is, do it right now.

Basic edits -

1. Click "Edit Page" at the top of any page.

2. Change something — I'm sure you can find something to alter, even if it is just a missing comma, an extra comma, a missspelling, or an inelegant phrase.

3. Click "Save."

That was dirt simple, right? Do you see your fantastic new change? Any changes immediately become live — for you and all other people that visit this site. Want to try something more advanced?

Adding a link -

1. Click "Edit Page" at the top of any page.

2. Highlight a word (or words) you wish to use as the link to the page.

3. Click on the “Insert/Edit Link” tool in the toolbar (looks like a globe with a chain link).

4. Select the "Link Type" from the pull down menu.

  • PB Works Page: to link to another page on the Wiki
  • PB Works File: to link to a file that has been uploaded to the Wiki
  • URL: to link to an outside web address
  • Email: to link to an email address

5. When you're finished, click Save at the bottom of the page.

Uploading a file -

1. Click the "Upload Files" button (near the upper right corner of the page)

2. Click the next "Upload Files" button (near the upper left corner of the page)

3. Choose the file from your computer

4. For Team Members only, others skip to #5: If you want to make the file private, check the box beside the file and click the "Move" button above and select your team folder.

5. Now you've uploaded your file and can use the instructions above to link to your PB Works File.

The fastest way to learn more about formatting is to get over any timidity and learn by doing. However, if you prefer a more structured explanation, read the official User Guide, which includes detailed editing and linking instructions.

So now, go to the Site Overview, find some part of the site that you are particularly interested in, read what is already there, and then start contributing.
